Is he still bullish?


Jeremy Siegel, Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania professor of finance, speaks with CNBC’s Mike Santoli about his outlook for the markets this year. Listen up bears, the good doctor has been unremittingly bullish year in and year out. Is this stuff good enough for the bulls?

Over the years, he has written on a dizzying array of subjects such as monetary policy, indexing, inflation, taxation, interest rates, bank regulation, valuation and the business cycle. He has won myriad awards for his academic research. However, his 1994 book, “Stocks for the Long Run” brought Siegel fame outside the ivory tower and, in the minds of many investors, made him the archetypal bull.
